Annual Salary:

Starting salary circa £60,000.

Annual cost of living rises as negotiated nationally will be applied to the scale.

Progression on the pay band is determined by a combination of performance, evidence of learning and development and working within the Council's management and leadership behaviours framework.

The pay bands are subject to review against the market every three years.

A relocation assistance package is available in accordance with the City Council's scheme up to £6,150
Normal location: Cambridge City Centre
Travel: Designated as a Casual User. Occasionally required to travel on Council business. Travel allowances will be paid in accordance with the Council's scheme. There is no allocated parking with this post.
Notice Period: Three months by either side (one month by either side during the first six months)
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, plus some unsocial working outside normal working hours
Restrictions: Politically restricted post. Additional appointments/roles can be undertaken only with the express consent of the Council.
